FAQ

Hey there! You probably are wondering a little bit more about me and what I do. Here are some questions that I am frequently asked.

Photography FAQ:

What kind of camera do you use?

I use a Canon R6 with a Canon L series 24-70 lens with the mirrorless adapter for the majority of my pictures. I previously used an older dslr Sony body with the same lens.

What do you use to edit your photos?

I usually use Adobe Lightroom CC or Adobe Photoshop depending on what I need to do to the particular photo.

Do you use Natural or Artifical Light?

I go back and forth between a softbox and using natural light. It really depends on the time of day that I decided to photograph my food. My Easy Apple Pie was photographed with artificial light and my Funfetti Cupcakes were photographed with natural light.

How long have you been doing photography?

I started playing and experimenting with food photography in December of 2018

Food FAQ:

I made your recipe and it didn’t turn out. Why did this happen?

I’m so sorry to hear that! I try to create recipes that are delicious and reliable. If something didn’t turn out the way it should, please let me know so I help you figure out what went wrong.

What happens to all the food you make?

I live in a family of eleven so getting rid of food isn’t that hard, also we have a lot of people over and if I have extras I will give them away.

Where do you get your inspiration?

Sometimes I get my inspiration on Pinterest and other social media sights other times I have a random idea from something I saw at the grocery store or even outside in nature.

Random FAQ:

How old are you?

I am seventeen and a homeschooled high school junior.

What are your social media accounts?

You can find my Instagram here, and my Pinterest here, and my Facebook Page here.

What is your favorite thing to make?

Pastries! particularly Croissants, Kouign Amann and Kolaches!

Do you allow guest posts?

It depends what you want to guest post about! You should totally reach out if you have a proposal!

Do you review products?

I have never reviewed a product before but am open to the idea.

Have a question that isn’t answered? Contact me here and I will try and answer it as soon as possible!
